OLDER WORK 2

I have always been a great admire of Degas. I liked his style.  As an hommage to him I made this drawing.  It is done with colourpencil on paper I got from the factory where I was working in those days.  As far as I remember the paper had a grey colour.

The drawing of the girl which I used as basis for this drawing is probably the next image.  I found it on Wikiart.org.   It is made around 1866.

Recently on an Antique Market in Münster (Germany) I saw this statue standing in the corner of a shop. It was announced as Degas but actually it is not the same as the Dancer a bronze made by Degas. But the attitude and bodylanguage is the same.  I liked it.
